About Us
Our lighting agency originated when Wallace G. (Wally) Moore decided to give up the corporate world and start his own agency. Wally spent many years with Thomas Lighting Canada and Sylvania Canada and is well known and respected throughout the industry.
Once the decision was made to start the agency Wally asked his son Dave to join him in the venture. Dave held an Engineering Diploma and has many years of sales and marketing experience. Further training in lighting thru the I.E.S.N.A. (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) and in lighting layout software were soon part of Dave’s C.V.
Since January 2000 the agency has grown to represent a host of various Lighting Manufacturers. W. G. Moore & Associates provides conscientious service to the specification community, contractors, end users, and of course our distribution partners.
Our service includes Design / Build and Retro-fit specification in our ongoing drive to maximize results for the lines we represent!
We believe in endeavouring to create quality lighting installations and prefer to make use of energy efficient solutions whenever possible!
All of the lines we represent are of exceptional quality from established and respected manufacturers. As we grow, look for new lines to be added to the line card that round out our impressive portfolio.
We act as an importer for many of our lines and are the sole Canadian Import Distribution Agent for the C.I. division of Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting of California.
We represent our various product lines in some or all of a territory roughly bounded by the GTA north to Huntsville, west to Listowel, and East to Belleville, Ontario.
Like any business we have seen many changes in the industry and our own agency but one thing will never change and that is the high priority we hold for servicing the needs of our clients!!
